A Message from Reverend Victoria
we can do
Dear Beloved #AgapeEast Community,
On Thursday, March 3rd the Parliament of the World’s Religions and the Committee of Religious NGOs at the UN joined faith partners at the Church Center for the United Nations, Tillman Chapel for a #multifaith #prayerservice for #Ukraine.
The prayer service featured prayers from diverse #faith expressions upholding #peace and #freedom, shared reflections of #solidaritywithUkraine and the Ukrainian community around the world, called for a peaceful resolution to this conflict, featured messages from our sisters and brothers in Ukraine. and offered prayers, messages of hope and calls to peace. Watch the prayer service in full here https://youtu.be/V7PAKsi8Qc4.
This multi-faith service was made possible with the support of partners like the Association for Global #NewThought, the Baptist World Alliance, Equanomics Global, The Episcopal Church, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, The Interfaith Center of New York, the Mennonite Central Committee – MCC, The New York Board of Rabbis, Inc., the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), The Salvation Army USA, the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women, the Grace United Methodist Women, the Unitarian Universalist Association UN Office, Unity World Headquarters & among others.
